Feasts
Our community feasts bring people together around shared meals, storytelling, and laughter. These gatherings honor the abundance of the land and the richness of our relationships, creating space for connection across generations and communities. Feasts remind us that nourishment goes beyond food—it’s about community, culture, and shared joy.

National Indigenous Peoples Day

This celebration shines a light on the vibrancy of Indigenous culture, creativity, and knowledge. Through performances, workshops, and cultural demonstrations, participants of all ages engage with traditions and teachings that have shaped our communities for generations. Through this day, we celebrate identity, foster pride, and create meaningful connections to culture and community.
Fall Harvest (Dagwaagin Gabeshiwin)
The Fall Harvest celebrates the bounty of the season, connecting youth and families to traditional foods, land-based activities, and the rhythms of nature. It’s a time to learn about harvesting, preparing, and sharing food, while strengthening the bonds between land, community, and self. Throughout the Fall Harvest we aim to cultivate gratitude for the land’s gifts and teach sustainable, culturally grounded practices while fostering relationships and bringing community together.

Winter Celebration (Biboon Odaminowin)

Winter is storytelling season, and our Winter Celebration invites participants to engage in games, land-based learning, cultural activities, and community gatherings. It’s a time to reflect, connect, and revel in the magic of the season while learning from Anishinaabe teachings and traditions. Winter offers space for reflection and the passing down of stories, keeping culture alive and intergenerational connections strong.
